save the cheerleader... save the world...

Posted : 15 years, 4 months ago on 16 December 2008 08:09 (A review of Heroes)

i will forever remember "heroes" for that tagline... no matter what.

this tv series follows the belief that human genes have the capability to possess a rare genetic sequence that allows the individual to have extraordinary abilities. dr surresh lived and breathed this theory and he had devoted his entire life to identifying the pattern and locating each of the gene carriers...

in his search, however, he comes across sylar... who wasn't exactly without talent, but who was dr. surresh to know whats inside the mind of a potential serial killer?

this show makes you wonder whether the impossible can be possible in real life...
can people fly? can someone read minds? can i move things without touching them? if they can do it, why can't i?

It's not chaos... it's a brotherhood!

Posted : 15 years, 4 months ago on 16 December 2008 07:57 (A review of Greek)

the american stereotypical college life includes the need for a collegiate newbie to fit in and belong to an organization. this affiliation not only ensures you of "new found friends", it defines who you will more or less become... greek tells the story of young individuals, surviving the pressures of college academic requirements as well as the requisites of social survival.

it is an adventure pack love square among the cast of this overly entertaining series. we meet "dusty" a geek to the core whose sister "casey" is entangled between two loves-of-her-life, has arrived in university with one goal - to enjoy his life and break through his norms (which is polymer science and everything boring).

this series is one party scene after another... probably ur dream college life...
